One Direction has allegedly gone their separate ways and multiple press sources are reporting that the much-beloved boy band's extended hiatus will become a permanent split.
A source close to the band reportedly whispered into the ear of US Weekly that the band has declined to renew their contracts because their six-year career together feels stale, they said:
"The 1D thing just ran its course. They’ll remain friends, but they are exhausted and want solo careers.”
In August 2015, the teeny bopper heartthrobs announced they would be taking a hiatus beginning in March, and a large amount of the press cycle for the band’s fifth album, 'Made In The A.M.,' focused on the remaining four band members, discussing their plans for the break.
